The multiplicity of terms throws the consumers into confusion.

Consumers have a thirst of knowledge about the methods of production and the origins of food. What’s more, some are nostalgic of olden products, traditionally made, and are very suspicious about industrial food.

That tendency inspires the experts of marketing and they use the picture of farms and nature to sell everything, including industrial products. For the consumers, it is quite impossible to distinguish a brand which communicates about “tradition” and real traditional products.

Keeping the confusion between industrial and traditional food is still possible because the labels are difficult to understand for the customers. So, they have their own references as price, brand, signature...
