The Fromages de Terroirs Association was founded in 2001 by Véronique Richez-Lerouge, journalist and writter, after a fight following sanatory crisis which aimed systematically the raw milk cheeses. Since then the Association kept giving the chance of makers and retailers to educate the consumers at the raw milk cheese wich are produced by farmers.
