The Grataron du Beaufortain

Monday 26th September 2011 by Veronique RICHEZ-LEROUGE
Sometimes called Graitaron, that goat’s milk cheese is made in the villages of Beaufort, Hauteluce, Arêches, Villard and Queige.
It has the shape of a 8 to 10 cm across and 3 to 4 cm high disc. Its washed rind is beige or orangey pink and its pate soft, with little holes.
