Cheese in children’s diet

Several studies made by the CREDOC (Research Institute for the Study and Monitoring of Living Standards) have shown a 15% decreasing of cheese consumption by the French children between 2003 and 2007. Cheese is an important source of vitamins and minerals, that’s why it is recommended to eat some usually during childhood.
When can a baby eat cheese?
A child can discover new flavours very early:
You can add a pinch of grated cheese to six months old baby’s soup or mashed potatoes. (...)
